He was standing on the sideline at the end of the game when all the coach's sons and assorted scrubs were in. After the lazy tharpe'esque turnover Self benched him... who knows when he gets back in... probably not against Ok st.
I am sure we don't see Rio for the remainder of the season except for some mop up minutes at the end of games. I think if EJ and Tharpe get in foul trouble we just might see Roberts in there ahead of Rio from here on out. Adams just isn't ready to play at this level this season.
if that is the case, I suspect we will have another open scholly after the season.
Honestly, I expect him to be the guard off the bench if Tharpe and EJ get in foul trouble. This was a learning benching. Not a get off the team thing. We are not going to play Roberts over Anrio if there are meaningful things going on in a game.
