Ford at ESPN also said he was in the conversation. He has him 4 I think on the big board, but sees it as a year that will be driven by team needs.

It's going to be a lot about team needs this year, I agree. Unfortunately for Ben, I think most teams that wind up at the top of the draft see two guards as more of a luxury than a necessity. Hopefully I'm wrong, and I really could be with this draft being so, so weak. Just like college teams this season, there is depth of "good" but very few "very good" and no "great" players in this draft.
I want to say this is insane....but then I remember that Dion effin Waiters went Top 4 last year.
I think the more Ben gets compared to Ray Allen, the better. It's a good comparison, though I'll admit to being too young to know much about Allen coming out of college.
Personally, I think Ben is more like Demar DeRozan with a jumpshot.
