Perhaps hate is a strong word, but Grantland with an amusing column/bracket today on the most hated players in college basketball, with the regions labeled as 80s, 90s, 00s, and Duke. To explain Duke, they say, among other things, that it prevents the risk of an all-Duke Final Four.
With no real thought, my prediction on the voting:
Iverson (upset pick)
My personal picks:
A tournament to determine the most despised in recent NCAA hoops history.

I'm surprised that out of the Fab Five, only Jalen Rose gets any run.
If you watched 30 For 30 on them, really, you could pick any of them outside of Juwon Howard and probably pick up votes. Jimmy King and Ray Jackson weren't as bad as Webber and Rose, but they weren't great either.
Greg Paulus is WAAAAAAAY underseeded. that guy is a grade A douche.
Paulus had the potential to go far in a tournament like this, but for me, he was never good enough in college. As for Rose, I'm somewhat surprised he was the pick, especially in light of him being pretty well liked these days as a TV guy, but including him could be an ESPN thing. Simmons and him work together on some projects. It could just be tweaking a friend.
Paulus is way under valued here. Best value pick on the board IMHO. Don't know how you can have him behind Battier for example. Craft is under seeded as well but I think Tyler wins that bracket in a walk.
I'm not sure Tyler gets out of his own bracket, when he shares it with Joakim Noah. I think Noah scores the upset.
Florida Gators star forward Joakim Noah transformed center court into a dance floor after winning the '07 college bball SEC crown. Bill Raftery and Verne Lundquist were speechless.
I think post title you are right but Noah has rehabilitated his image in the NBA as a hard nosed post. Tyler is still a floppy bitch.
On the other hand, Noah remains relevant where Tyler is a forgotten scrub.
