Jerry, any info on where he will pick on Friday? Telep is saying Kansas might be leading.
I don't have any specific recent info. A Kansas pick would be a significant upset recruiting win for the Jayhawks. Thought Villanova might be the upset pick because what he wants fits their system.
Jesus, that would be huge.
I'm just not buying it. I see Syracuse or Villanova. I think our best chance for a "surprise" is Randle.
Highly unlikely, but it would be a lovely cap for signing week then on to 2014.

Where did Telep say this? I have looked to see if I could find him saying it and haven't been able to. From all my travels around the interwebs it seemed like KU had no shot. Would be awesome to get him and would surprise the hell out of everyone.

Telep said in a chat today that Kansas and Syracuse are the leaders. He also said on radio that Kansas may have a razor edge thin lead. Jeff Borzello wrote today that Syracuse appears to be fading. Syracuse boards say for the most part they believe Roberson will go to Villanova. Villanova Insiders are saying Roberson to Syracuse. Other "recruiting" people claim no staff at either of the three schools feel confident with Roberson.
There is also some saying that Syracuse is trying to reclassify McCullough and thus may not have a scholarship for Roberson.
Thanks for the info. I definitely felt like Villanova was the front runner after his comments when he visited them. I won't get my hopes up but it's interesting to hear that we even have a shot because so many of us had written him off awhile ago.
If Syracuse got Roberson, they'd find a spot for McCullough. Heck, do we even have a spot for Roberson or do we have to clear one? I'll double check, but I think it's the latter.
I'll say this, I don't have a ton of info, but even the little bit I've received is conflicting. This may be one where nobody really knows until it's done.
Class of 2014:
As an aside, we will be crazy young next season.
You may want to add Wesley to your list. I know he will go off scholly next year, but at least that gives us one senior. And after some of his play last night I think he warrants roster mention there as well.
I think the NBA will clear a spot for us at the 2.
If Wesley warrants roster mention for next season, whether or not McLemore leaves, we'll have open spots.
I think it's very obvious that outside of Perry Ellis Bill Self is wanting a serious overhaul of KU's front court for next season.
Not sure of the rule, but if Lucas redshirts this year does he still have to sit out next season if he should choose to transfer?
Yeah, but if he decides to transfer at semester he could cut the wait in half.
I'm really interested to see what happens with him.
But if he transfers at semester he loses the year of eligibility for not completing freshman year. Dumb punishment.
The KU staff does not think Roberson is choosing Kansas.
Well then, there you have it... Nova huh?
Live to love, love to live
Interesting. Is it official now or the announcement still to come? I haven't been online all day.

So KU comes in second again...
I really don't see why handlers would like Cuse the best... Boheim is such a fricken weird dude
Maybe that got another old ugly lady to bang the players there now.
