EJ has to just play. Don't think, just play the game.
Knowing he has someone to share ball handling with is a big deal too. Amazing game tonight.

Kid still played most of the game at the point. And did it very well.
I was happy to see him (EJ) take over... That's the first time I've ever seen him be the man... I was dissapointed with McLemore though. He just takes an obligatory look at the basket and swings the ball, but not only that, the other guards didn't seem very interested in getting him the ball. On the 5 second call on the out of bounds play he was open on the near side and Travis didn't even look at him.
Live to love, love to live
Ben stands still too much. Especially on the road. For a huge stretch of the 1st he just stood in the corner.
Without a doubt. I could be 100% off, but it seems like it's just the pressure release of believing he has help.
Ben stands too much and does not have the ability to create his own shot. I've said it in another thread but I just don't see him as a top 5 pick. I don't get it. He has a load of potential, but has a ways to go to be able to contribute at the next level. These last 3 games Ben has not looked like an NBA player.
Now for Elijah, wow. Kid had stones last night. One of the best individual performances I've seen from a KU player. Hopefully he can carry that confidence over because lord knows this team needs him too with the disappearance of McLemore.

Some Elijah love (and ref hatred) in these articles
Elijah Johnson has his critics. Sometimes they include himself. But on Monday night, in an emotional OT win at Iowa State by his Kansas Jayhawks, Johnson answered them all with an otherworldly 39-point performance.
Oklahoma State snapped Kansas' 33-game home winning streak earlier this month while Bill Self benched Elijah Johnson and later delivered the following quote:
