They might be close. Wisky is up there every year and for the most part people can't figure out that one either. Their problem today is they are not dominating on the offensive boards like they probably should.
Pitt looks to be done.
I'm already tired of the "Fast and Furious 6" ads
Third final: Wichita State 73, Pittsburgh 55
Fourth final: St. Louis 64, New Mexico State 44
Memphis really really tried to fart away that game against St. Mary's.
Dude, that movie is straight ballin'.
Crazy finish in Auburn Hills for our fifth final: Memphis 54, Saint Mary's 52
They tried almost as hard to lose that as they tried to lose to us.
Big Least just killing my bracket. Had Marquette going down but got nervous about trying to pick Butler or Bucknell into the Sweet 16. Put Marquette through. Hating that decision right now.
Okie Lite looking very much like they're coached by Travis Ford.
When the bracket was announced, I thought that pod was the most "wide open" with Davidson getting healthy and Muscala causing matchup problems for Butler. Bucknell clearly could have won that game, and Davidson looking like the best of the four teams at this point.
I am far more interested in Shaq doing some sort of internet clip show. I can't fathom why anyone would put that show together.
Talk about an escape. Marquette should have gone down. Davidson is the best free throw shooting team in the country and tried TOO HARD to avoid getting fouled, and threw it away. Davidson sooooo should have won this one. Nonetheless, we have our sixth final: Marquette 59, Davidson 58
Lord, help me, I'm agreeing with Kenny Smith. Davidson needed someone to step up and get fouled and say "I'm going to be the one who is going to send my team to the next round." They clearly didn't want to win as much as they wanted to not lose.
So close. Really thought we might get that one. Seventh final: Gonzaga 64, Southern 58
Smart only gets to the line 8 times and OSU gets housed.
Michigan looking a bit shaky early on. You have to be afraid of Burke and/or Hardaway burying you as both can hit contested shots but you have to think the percentages are with you. You will get good shots against their leaky defense. It becomes a contest of good shots vs contested ones.
I agree. I'm hoping they pull this out because I think they're a tough matchup for VCU because they don't turn the ball over at all.
Another example of the flagrant foul rule being TOTALLY out of control. Yeesh.
Yeah, VCU looks like no fun. Really dependent on the whistle you get. They foul about 4 times a second but no one will call it because college refs blow.
I'd still take a VCU matchup over Michigan everyday of the week. Michigan is tough game that early in the tourney.
Oriakhi has to be the only player in mizery history with a Final Four, much less National Title, on his résumé
Watching Haith just regress to the mean has been a joy this year. If Pressey goes that offense is going to go in the tank. He makes bad decisions but he still is the engine that makes that offense go.
